Since then He has broken the rest of them but one. All fence panels that were broken were removed as they broke, but the last one really had a parents heart pumping! Today I looked over and he was laying belly to the floor. His head was stuck between two rails, as the connector had broken on the top of the gate it allowed for him to squeeze his head through. He must have then fallen to the ground. He could not move and his neck was pinched as the rail connector on the bottom was still intact. Had I not been there to see him, he could have been dead in another minute. I think these should be recalled or made just for pets. 10 months when i first bought it, he is now 11 months and it is in the trash. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful  Great price, but already broken, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Regalo 4 In 1 Metal Play Yard, White (Baby Product) We used this play yard to fence in our 13 month old twin boys and give them a safe place to play when we have to step away. It worked great, we use it as a two-sided fence attached to the wall with walls as the other two sides. Our boys broke this at the connectors in two segments by shaking the gate. The first break occurred within two months or so of purchasing the gate and the second break occurred recently (about 4 months of use). It fit the bill, perfectly, as it was plenty long enough, and very sturdy. It was also very easy to attach to the wall.My only complaint is with the door locking system, not that it doesn't work well, but that on this entirely white fencing unit the latch is red. It immediately attracted our 11 month-old grandson's attention, and within 2 weeks he had figured out how to open the gate. I'm certain that if the latch was white, it would have taken him much longer to find and master. I would have given 5 stars if not for this issue. |
